Character TypeEdit

Each Character card has distinguishing marks to express Card Level, Faction, and Rank. These may help a player determine the quality of a card and how well it may work in their deck.

Card LevelEdit

There are 3 Card Levels, denoted by a ★, with 3 ★'s being the highest level. These generally describe the rarity and strength of the card, and may also allude to the AP cost of included abilities.

FactionEdit

There are two factions, the Helghast (HGH) and the ISA. A Character card will always belong to either of these. The factions also control promotion/demotion; a HGH Soldier cannot be promoted to a ISA Soldier V2.

RankEdit

The Ranks are noted in the bottom right corner of the character image on the card. The Ranks are as follows:

There are also 4 Honor Ranks only available on Level ★★★ Cards:

Characters are the main Card Type used in play. The game ends when there are no more Characters left to Activate. They can be equipped with Weapons or Tools, and are generally the main casualty of the game. They are the most dynamic Card Type by offering rank and promotions.
